To calculate accurate valuations, source reliable financial data for each method. Here’s how to find the required inputs for global and Ghanaian companies:

Comparable Company Analysis (CCA)
Requires P/E ratio and earnings:
- P/E Ratio: Find on Yahoo Finance under “Summary” or “Statistics” for similar companies.
- Earnings: Check the income statement on Yahoo Finance or gse.com.gh for net income.
Net Asset Value (NAV)
Requires total assets and liabilities:
- Assets and Liabilities: Find on the balance sheet via Yahoo Finance, gse.com.gh, or annualreportsghana.com.
Market Capitalization
Requires share price and shares outstanding:
- Share Price: Check current price on gse.com.gh or Yahoo Finance.
- Shares Outstanding: Find in financial statements or company reports.
Enterprise Value (EV)
Requires market cap, debt, and cash:
- Market Cap: Calculate as share price × shares outstanding.
- Debt and Cash: Find on the balance sheet under liabilities and cash equivalents.
Replacement Cost
Requires tangible and intangible assets:
- Tangible and Intangible Assets: Check balance sheet for property, equipment, patents, or goodwill.
- Adjustment Factor: Optional; use 1 unless specific adjustments are needed.
Risk-Adjusted Return
Requires portfolio return, risk-free rate, beta, and market return:
- Portfolio Return: Estimate based on historical or expected returns.
- Risk-Free Rate: Use Ghana treasury bill rates or U.S. treasury rates.
